Ranganathan Street


I have taken this picture to show the amount of crowd travelling through Ranganathan street every minute.

I have taken this picture at M.G.R Memorial where a person prays to the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M.G.Ramachandran respecting equal to god.

This Picture depicts that the poor people in Chennai who are homeless use the beach for sleeping.

























A small event for Road Safety was held at marina beach. I have taken these pictures to show that many rallies / Events are conducted at Marina Beach under the controlled rules and regulations of the city's police department.

Kaasimedu Fish Market




A Busy Day


Kaasimedu Market is indeed a busy place in the early mornings, were a lot of buying and selling of sea foods take place, as soon as i entered kaasimedu i was surprised by the amount of activities involved in a fish market.





I was walking around the market and wanted to take the picture of fishes being unloaded from the boats and when i saw this scene i clicked this picture to show it as the first activity of the day.

























I haven taken these two pictures to show the team effort of the fishermen.



I have taken this picture to show that there is an auction going on for the fishes as the people have gathered to ask their bids.



I have taken this picture to show that even quarrels can happen during the auctions between the sellers and the buyers. I was not able to get through the crowd so i had to put my camera in live view and raise my hands above my head to take this picture.

As i was walking around the market i found these colorful flags on the boats with the background of a sunrise and also the love of the fisherman for their country that they have also hoisted their national flag i thought it as a concept of rising India.






I wanted to click this picture as to show the cultural belief of the people to beak a pumpkin when they do something new. 






This picture shows an old fisherman stitching the torn fishing nets together which is an important job as they cannot do fishing with a fishing net that has holes in it.






I have clicked this picture that to transport the ice its not possible to do by hand, but they use a fork like holder and drag the ice.
